if superman went to marvel will you still read?
No and neither should anyone. Simply put Superman wouldn't fit or make sense in the Marvel Universe and with the changes that would be needed to make him fit would ruin the character.
Most of Marvel's heroes are feared/unpopular/hated by the normal people
and Superman....well....

where is this from? just from this pic it looks like a good comic to read
i would still read it at least the first few months than it would depend on where they go with him
Yep but it would be interesting how Marvel would introduce him and how he would fare with the rest of the marvel universe.
I don't know how would they break him into the MU. They would either have to d something like dump him into Marvel Earth from another dimension and him being a complete newcomer in the world, which would completely disregard 70 years of his history, or would make some retcon that he was always there, like they did with the Sentry, which would also suck.
Well I never read DC. I would probably read Superman if he went to Marvel because it would be a great starting point (for me anyway). I'd prefer him to be a cosmic hero as opposed to an Earth based hero.
And all you DC fans, you never know, some of his writers and artists might follow him.
id buy couple of his comics on marvel.. if i like, hell, thats cool. if not. then whatever. i dont read to much superman anyway.
He would fit. They would just introduce him as a result of a large event, like Secret Invasion. He would not be the same as DC but Marvel would be able to slowly reveal his past and character, and, and... if they wanted, they could keep it true to the history DC built up. They could have a new team of good guys that the New Avengers always hate, due to the fact that this new group lead by Sup always played by the rules etc. Eventually wooing over people like Spidey (guys that want to play by the rules). All the while, secretly Superman is Evil (cause this is Marvels version) and manipulates his new team to destroy Earth. Fin
" Why are you talking like this is Happening? "agreed. Marvel is already backing DC/Time Warner publically on their rights, as theyve been in this same scenario themselves, and fully understand were their friends and collaberators in the biz are coming from. they have nothing, literally zero connection to the current legal fiasco involving the Superman rights. Fanboys shouldnt use this tragic turn of events for Dc to bash each other, something they shouldnt do in the first place. All comcis and comic fans rule, brothers and sisters.
Remember who the real villians are here.
doubt i would read it unless they had him kicking the crap out the likes of thor, hulk and sentry but then again they would probably have rulk beatin the hell out of him
I doubt I would, I mean I might read the first few issues just to see what direction they are going in. But I don't believe Superman, as he is now, would ever fit into the Marvel Universe. I mean Sentry is supposed to be "Superman" and he is one of the most disliked characters in Marvel. So if they can't do it with Sentry they wouldn't be able to do it with Supes.
I also doubt Marvel will pay for the license if DC would lose it, it would cost so much I don't believe it would be worth it for Marvel in the long run.

well i think some of the main reasons people dont like sentry is becuase he IS a superman rip-off maybe if they had the real thing they would like him
He would be too good to fight most he would probably have to go on cosmic adventures with silver surfer or something along those lines
although I would like to see the lantern corps instead in the marvel universe. And see how they try to deal with universal threats such as Galactus and Thanos
and then he realsises that his psychotic behavier was due to the fact that he was ripped from the fabric of time and space but can only remember scraps of his past life" Sentry, in a fit of rage, tears off his own skin and is surprised to find Superman underneath... "
" Sentry, in a fit of rage, tears off his own skin and is surprised to find Superman underneath... "lol
Ok, for starters: If Supes went Marvel I would find whoever decided on it and well yeah. It wouldn't be pretty.....Why not just have another DC vs. Marvel thing like from back in the 90's? Just do it that way except the swap is semi permanent, and reverse it at the end of the ark so that everyone is back where they belong with the occasional dimensional tear and some marvel heroes and villans make guest apperances.
Superman would have to be a cosmic adventure character for him to fit in the Marvel Universe. There is no place for him on Marvel's Earth unless they depowered him.
I wouldn't follow him to Marvel because he would not be the same character. He is a pillar of the DCU and in order for him to fit into the Marvel Universe they would have to change him all the way down to his core. He would no longer be the Superman that I love.
if anything i would read his comics more if only tosee what they do to him , would also make the jla vs avengers therad more fun since theres no way marvel would take him and not add him to roster
I would probably still read his comics I guess.,... as long as it's not being written by Loeb and not drawn by Liefeld.
