George Perez and Jesus Merino had an awesome run on new 52 Superman. I just reread it tonight and I loved it.
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18942 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
I don't care what anyone says
1-12
In that case, the first few sucked but then it wasn't bad at all. Issue 10 is actually one of my favorites.

@thesexyloser: I liked issue 1 of the H'El arc. You're spelling Hill. =D

shu-shut up.
I'll say this, Lobdell really went down hill after that arc and his stories became to weird and unstable. I enjoy his RHATO work though
@pperspectiveandreality: Same to you. It's just I bought the first 9 issues of the series and with hindsight, that was a waste of my money given its quality.
@thesexyloser: time out, are you a boy or a girl? Your name is confusing me. =D
As far as Lobdell, I think he ought to stick to vigilsntees instead of superheroes. He's a feat writer, and feats get boring quickly for a guy like Superman. If he wrote Batman it would be better since feats for a nom-powered character are more interesting and potentially creative.

......It's the internet dude, always assume it's a guy unless told otherwise by person in question. Maybe this will refresh your memory

Aside from the planet bench and the planet punch what notable feats did he give Clark?
@pperspectiveandreality: Flew from Pluto to Earth in under a minute and found Red Hood and Gang in that time,

Oh yeah I forgot about that one. But still, thats just 3 notable feats. The way people talk about Lobdell you'd think he did something crazy every issue.

Yeah, those are the biggest ones IIRC. He did give him new powers/abilities. Like he can increase his own body temperature. But overall the feats don't bother me.
Ah, Perez’s run. Boring stuff IMO – read issue, forget that you read that issue and never want to reread that issue.
We all have our preferences. For one to make fun of you because of what you prefer is juvenile. I love dub versions of most anime more than subbed versions. Not a big deal.
That said. I'm glad you liked those issues.

This is such a big deal.
@farkam: I guess it is. Because two semesters ago in my creative writing class, EVERYONE was talking about the haps in Attack on Titan, and I had no clue what the hell they were talking about. Hell, I didn't even know it was a show until mmmmmmmm........November?
Shame on me.
Same thing happened last semester with Kill La Kill, but then I saw like an episode, and said 'screw that cartoon.' I don't like it.
@twentyfive: I prefer Dubs to Subs nowadays because I don't feel like reading while watching stuff. Also AoT f*cking sucks.
@farkam: To be honest, I'm glad you said that.
My first bought comics was Superman 1-10. The first arc (1-6) is a clusterf#ck to be honest. Even my first comics and I knew it could have been better. When Jurgens took over and introduced Helspont in 7-8 I loved it. 9-12 was okay, Lobdell's zero issue and H'el stuff was great, but after that its poop.

Cool beans for this post.
@pperspectiveandreality: Nothing to suggest, nothing about his run sticks out.
