Well Damian appeared in Batman and son (animated movie) and he is dead now.

That's totally different, Robins are a dime a dozen. Also that story was based on a Pre 52 story which DC does 1 and 2 will be New 52 a year. Also Charlie Soule has implied that the SM/WW romance goes all the way up until Futures End... what happens to Supes, IDK. But Soule will be writing both the WW and SM/WW Futures End issues.

There was a time when I'd entertain this subject, but now I just let Lois fans think whatever they want.

That’s quite a leap of imagination.

But the end with Diana bit has always been coming ever since the early stages of that toxic and putrid romance. Johns himself said it would end badly, most likely in a Superman vs Wonder Woman fight. I agree it's not going to be an instant rebound to Lois like that but Superman/Wonder Woman is most certainly not as popular as when it started out.

If you didn't want to read my other stuff I should have pointed out that the current DC executives want to keep Superman as a bachelor for the time being and not have him tied down in a serious romantic relationship. Once they do decide to go that direction, it'll inevitably be with Lois again.

@saint_wildcard: Yes well I've cut back on my open criticism of the pairing since it isn't worth the majority of my time on here. The right thread might bring it back though.

Actually I think Wonder Woman might be the aggressive one towards Superman. Soule has written Superman as being more emotionally vulnerable than Diana and if anything happens to make them turn against each other, Superman will hold back more than Diana will. I'm betting that DC will go for the 'novel' idea to have a mind controlled Wonder Woman fight Superman. Or both of them fighting each other mind controlled. How quaint a way to end the relationship...

@timelord: I was being sarcastic. Morrison wrote a pitch 5 years into their marriage that had them breaking up because he thought it wasn't working, but DC keeps them going.

Oh man, I haven't even read the trade paperback of superman/ wonder woman and it's already gonna end. I can't believe it; I've enjoyed seeing the couple through the first few justice league books and I wanted to get a few stories with the couple featuring in. Hopefully they'll bring out a volume two in trader paperback. Still, I'm not particularly happy to see the return of lois especially how she's acted in the new 52; I kinda wished this relationship became long term. Oh well back to fan fiction.

Don't let threads like these get to you. It's clear that the majority of people in here are Clois fans, and they keep riding on that Trinity War comment Geoff made and that Booster Gold sequence. It's clear that plans have changed. When it comes to Diana and Kal, I'd recommend sticking to the appreciation thread here, and there's another at CBR that's even safer.

I don't and I'm gonna crank them out this weekend.

No because the people in charge of DC have their heads up their read-ends.

DC is still doing that with Superman with him still being from Krypton, wearing red and blue, his powers etc. Those are still exciting.
