I haven't read trinity war because I am doing another DC cross over event it just murders my wallet. So anyway was is good , bad or meh.
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18942 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
How was trinity war ?
Other than the first fight and the last where the kickoff of FE starts, there is little you'll miss of the big picture.
I read the entire Trinity War in one sitting and I can honestly say that it was the most over hyped and disappointing cross-over I've ever read. I give them credit for using this to introduce Earth-3 into the DCnU but the idea of it all was just horrible. Trying not to spoil anything for you though.
It was amazing I loved it although it was really just set up for Forever Evil in my opinion it was amazing from start to finish although it does start becoming slow at moments and even if you read it and hate the story the Art is amazing Ivan Reis, Doug Manhke and Mikal Janin killed it on this crossover.

Can't deny that. That promo battle wallpaper (which became the cover of the 1st of each of the 3 JL in the arc) is one of my favorite comic-images ever.
@lightsout: Yep this double page spread might be on of the best pieces of art in comics ever
@theincrediblesuperhulk8642: Forgot about that one. Trinity War could have been an art-only story & have been just as good, lol.
@lightsout: Yep Forever Evil seems to be the same as with David Finch drawing the main story and Ivan Reis drawing the Justice League tie ins it's going to look amazing.
@lightsout: I'm pretty sure that ... He was "revived" at the end of the books via Amanda Waller or someone. Remember when his body lit up and all that snaz. I think it was a Phantom Stranger tie-in when PS, Deadman, and Batman visited him in the after life.
@arturocalakayvee: Uh...yes, I remember that, lol. What does that have to do with him being a good guy in the new52? My issue was him being shown as some great guy here compared to the scumbag psychopath he was pre52. Are you suggesting he might turn evil later? Even then I don't care for the huge change in characterization.
Simply a bunch of filler issues for Forever Evil...why else would DC release huge spoilers MONTHS in advance?
@lightsout: That's exactly what I was suggesting, lol.
@arturocalakayvee: Ah, okay. It wasn't very clear (and I don't mean that in a snarky way :) ). Eh, I'm still not happy he started out the way he did, haha.
