I think these pretty much speak for themselves. I really like them, personally, but what do you guys think?

That is glorious. I would get married in that Superman costume.
Seriously, I adore it.
The House of El gear and Faora's suit are awesome as well. Cannot wait for this film.

That all looks awesome! I can't wait for the teaser in July :)
:O Is it really coming in July?!
Superman's costume looks like they ripped it off of the new Spiderman's (movie version) back and sewed a cape on it. I dont wanna bash it but....
Pretty sure they confirmed it for release before TDKR.@Kal'smahboi said:

I DO!!! I WANT TO BASH IT!!!!! PICK ME!!! ME!!! ME!!! ME!!! MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok so Gambler gave me permission
lets start with the colors...they got it mostly right...except they're way to muted...Superman isn't a dark hero and everyone should stop trying to make him one...he should be bright and not...well...dark and broody...that's his buddy's department
second we'll get a little technical and dip back to my days in high school art class and talk about line of sight....line of sight is basically the way a picture is done to draw your eyes to one specific point in the picture....lets follow the lines of Superman's costume shall we...and for that I have a visual aid
notice where the lines of the suit draw your eyes...right to that one spot...horrible line placement....and while you're looking...why the heck is Superman packing????
I'm a firm believer in the "if it ain't broken then don't fix it" rule...and there was absolutely nothing wrong with Superman's pre 52 costume...NOTHING...you can call it outdated all you want but it was classic...there was no reason to change it for the new 52 and there was no reason to change it for this movie

Is it me, or does Jor-el's have a hint of the bat symbol in it?
Subliminal messaging?
for me this is quite outstanding and very pleasing to the eyes. i guess its time for superman not to wear his undies outside or the inverted way. this costume is so much masculine and sturdy. if superman wants to be called the man of steel then this costume would be the perfect "costume statement".
At first I was not a fan of the "inverted basketball" or "golfball" texture of the suit but seeing it like this, like some sort of high-tech chainmail, I kinda like it.
In this version of Superman, Clark moonlights as an Olympic swimmer by day. By night, he dries his towel by having it draped on his back while flying at sub-sonic speeds.
Could it have hurt, had the designers just extended the costume up to the neck? I mean really?
@danhimself: Even had they kept the classic look I still think the costume looks better with muted, slightly darker colors. It doesn't necessarily give Superman an "edgier" or "darker" take because that's going to be based on his personality. If he's still portrayed as the "big, blue boyscout" then he's not going in the direction of Batman no matter the tint of his costume. We saw this in both Captain America and the Avengers with Cap. Rather than go the tradition stars and stripes tint of colors, they muted the red, white, and blue and I think shot for shot the costumes looked alot better than they would have with brighter colors. There is a realism to the darker tones that is getting a great response from comic book and non-reader viewers.
As for the package......well, that's always been part of the costume hasn't it. During the Christopher Reeve films the producers actually wanted him to stuff his jock strap to make Superman look more "strapping". They nixed the idea when he walked onto the set and everyone started commenting on it. Yet even without the stuffing people still remark that Reeve's groin was too pronounced. But that's just the nature of wearing something skin tight, isn't it? Should we be upset when male swimmers at the summer Olympics are sporting well endowed family jewels? If that was the case we'd ask them to stop wearing speedos.
