    Who is going to be Metallo?  Brian Austin Green.  That's right.  The former Derek Reese is now switching sides.  He used to fight Terminators and now he sort of is one. 

    TV Guide has reported that Green has been cast as Metallo in the next season of Smallville.  Green recently made it public that he had a desire to play Hal Jordan.  As if things weren't bad enough for Clark, now he's going to have to deal with Metallo.

    How do you think he'll be portrayed?  Do you think Green will make a good Metallo?  Can this character kick ass or is he going to come across as just another lame villain of the week?  Good thing there's plenty of Kryptonite in the Smallville universe.

    I could see this being a good thing, BAG (really unfortunate initials) has kinda proven that he's grown out of his 90210 era with Sarah Conner Chronicles. Now if they're going to have Metallo though we definitely need to have Cyborg more in this season. Who else would Clark call to get help with an evil cybernetic powerhouse? Maybe even let him get battle damaged enough that we can see the classic faceplate that he's got under his skin.

    9th season "no capes, no flying" says the producer and the director. Can't wait. The 8th season was good. 9th is going to be better.

    No two ways about it I am a huge Smallville fan, I'm still hoping the No Tights, No Flights rule is gonna be gone soon. But anyway as far as Green for Metallo, we'll just have to wait and see. One thing is for sure I'm pretty damn jealous of this guy right now, he gets to be on Smallville and Megan Fox!

    Smallville like the adam west Batman show is actually poluting a superhero genre and infecting people's perception of how a character is it needs to be forgotten as soon as it ends. The casting for this show (except Oliver Queen) has always been what made me watch it in the first place and the only good thing for it however it's not like the actors actually get to work with good material except Geoff Johns' Legion episode.
