The texture looks a lot like the Superman Returns suit (which I like) except the S shield on this new costume sucks. Also, what is with the greasy hair?

Anyway, it is not too bad. I don't think the actor looks at all right for the part but at least he has the right build. :]

I really want to like this costume cos it looks like they are going with the new superman costume but the scales, the scales, the scales...too much, toooo much!!!

That hair is so stupid. I can't give an opinion on the rest of the pic 'cause the stupidity of the hair is blocking my sight.

I just wanted the suit were more like the Superman revamp style . At least I hope they don´t avoid to add the shield in the cape this time. Please!

I don't know why he reminds me of an older Tom Welling....from far shots . Especially that Clark Kent shot or Comic Con I mean lol But ho nestly, this looks awesome. I love how his costume is updated, bigger "S" for the win!

To just add to the majority here, I'll say that he looks damn good, though I'm not a fan of the heavy mesh texturing going on with the suit. 
It gives it a bigger degree of plausibility, but it's a bit much.

I don't like the segmentation of the costume, it just looks weird, but I'll wait until I see it either on the big screen or FX, which ever comes first for me.

He looks kinda evil in that pic like the red kryptonite Superman from Superman III.  Maybe it's the lighting.

Hopefully WB doesn't make the film too dark and Sucker Punch-esque.

It looks okay but I really need to see a nice, full-on hero shot in the bright light of day to really make any kind of final judgment on the costume.

i am so disapointed this dude doesn't even look like super man and it's probably going to be very cheesy from the look's of it

I'm too picky with these things. I was never this picky when I was a kid.
Doubt I'd really watch the movie, anyway. It's not like I've watched anything else so far.

Looks weird. His suit looks like aquaman's and his S seems to be cake icing.

I loathe detest and despise Superman.. but this looks kinda hot!... well apart from the hair...

I think he looks great. The casting for this movie is really bring the whole project together for me but I'm going to reserve judgement at least until we see actual screen shots or a trailer. There's nothing to go on here.
