One of my favorites is when he visits a dilapidated neighborhood and decides the best way to fix the situation is to destroy literally every inhabited home, so the government would be forced to build the now homeless people new houses.

@flashback0180: what is that? I want to read that. Man, Superman comics would be so much better if the writers injected some humor into The stories. =D

I remember watching this as a kid at 2 A.M. In the morning at a time when I thought Superman was lame because he isn't Batman (Yep, I was a major Batman fan as a kid. Sorry if that goes against some of your views on me) and not really understanding what Superman was about or why he was such a great hero and thinking he was OP. I was only watching this because B:TAS had just ended and this followed and I didn't want to go to sleep. I cried when it happen because I think that was the first time in my life that a cartoon made me think about life. This made me come to terms with my own mortality when I realized that not even if Superman were real, he couldnt save everyone.

Plus, the emotion in Daly's voice made you know how much Superman was hurting from not being able to protect everyone. Then, when you add to the fact that his hearing makes him hear everything. It really makes you feel emotions that make me all uncomfortable in my advanced age. =D

And how much he believes that we're the ones who can make a change in this world, not supermen.
