Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
Every part. That book is perfection in comic-book form (go away, Watchmen fans).
But I really liked that last bit where 'Jor-El' tells Supes that he will inspire people, and that he can either surrender to the process or turn and face down evil one last time.

Superman comforting a suicidal girl and telling her "You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me." That encapsulates Superman in a nutshell right there.
There isn't only one part of the story that I like more than the others. There are scenes like Pa Kent's death,Superman saving that kid from a suicide,Lex's epiphany and the death of Supes in the end and also many more.
