Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
Ιt was the only Multiversity issue that left me wanting more. Actually that was a big complain of plenty reviewers. I personally found it as a show of quality. The world that Mastermen build was very interesting.
But I can't see any current DC writer, capable of writing it. And Morrison is on a break from big company comics.
@squalleon: Agreed. Although Morrison has said that he has an All Star Supermanesque Flash story which would be amazing. I would love to see him do the Earth 23 Superman book and more Superman work in general. I hope he continues the Justice Incarnate group in another title.
I want something ongoing from Morrison man. Any character or anything after WW Earth One we need a Morrison ongoing.
Morrison doesn't intend to write corporate comics for a while (he left his date of return vague but it is clear he doesn't want to write currently). He says he wants to focus on TV and creator owned stuff.
I could actually get into SuperObama and Sholly Fisch could be the next best writer after Morrison on the series. His back up in Action Comics #9 was an interesting look at what it would mean for Superman to be both President of America and the world's greatest superhero. I'd really like to see more stories like that where political issues have to be juggled with Superman's responsibilities defending the world and its people from global villainous threats.
