No. It's a mystery that doesn't really need solving. There are tons of aliens that look like humans, and they'd have to be encompassed into this mystery as well. Not to mention, the explanation behind it would more than likely be a bunch of ludicrous B.S.
Environmental similarities in both flora and fauna resulted in similar evolutionary growth. This would explain why kryptonite is lethal: Overexposure to concentrated forms of crystallized light, i.e., Krypton explodes, debris is scattered, most crystals shatter, only most durable, and by extension, most concentrated crystals survive. Overload cellular intake with alternative light source, yellow sun powers are over ridden with energy, causing sickness due to inability to adapt to such high concentrations of native crystal.
