Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
@bladewolf: ijust finished your reiew and thought it was quite good. Its refreshing to hear something other than its 90s there fore crap. I havent read the last two volumes of te arc but i have read The death of superman and its the oldest book i have and i love it. Its good to see someone take time and reivew something like an old story arc and make sence. Looking foward to reading other reviews that you do.
I agree with you on all counts. These were very influential (even to this day) and unique stories that should be remembered in their historical context, yet are flawed in terms of both art and narrative.
