Then, there’s this sneak peek King offered from Convergence #0, a two page spread by artist Ethan Van Sciver
Superman
Character » Superman appears in 18886 issues.
Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, Kal-El was adopted by the loving Kent family and raised in America's heartland as Clark Kent. Using his immense solar-fueled powers, he became Superman to defend mankind against all manner of threats while championing truth, justice, and the American way!
CONVERGENCE spoilers two page spread superman related
Looks good. I wonder if he will meet Pre 52 Clark and Lois.
New 52 Clark gets to watch himself. god damn braniac stop making Clark suffer
The many Ends(not necessarily deaths) of superman. That's quite a spread!
Plus i bet new 52 Supes must be thinking, "Damn, previous versions of myself had really cool costumes."
Many deaths of Superman. Yep, such encouraging beginning for Convergence…
Hmm, front Superman kinda looks less bloodied and beaten up compared to original DoS imo.
And why All-Star Superman included here? It’s not like he really died.
I see Clark's death from DOS, Kal-L's death from Infinite Crisis, the original 1961 death of Superman at Luthor's hands, the end of All-Star Superman, the dead Supermen from The Kingdom, and I think the one behind that is Superman dying in Red Son given the symbol on the bed, though Superman died in that story in the far future after the Sun went red giant. The one behind that looks like something from Batman Beyond, but I don't know when Superman died in that.

Well neither did most of them
Hopefully New 52 Superman learns how bad a job he's done thus far and how he can learn from his previous incarnations for a change. Though given how poorly Pak has written him, I somehow doubt current Superman will buck his ideas up.
EDIT: I almost forgot this probably had something to do with Superman's disappearance for 3 months after the end of Doomed.

I agree with all of them. And I see BB too. Maybe it has something to do with Future's end mecha-Superman. The last seem like generic filler.
@squalleon: I saw someone on another site say the one behind the Batman Beyond image is Superman's death in The Obsidian Age. Apparently he was impaled by some kind of spear in that story, but it's been a long time since I read it so I can't confirm.
Also nice spread by Ethan Van Schiver, I love his work. Glad he's partaking in this Convergence mini series as one of the artists.
Thoughts on this possibly being a red herring for Superman?

A red herring? What kind of red herring for Superman?

I dunno, this kinda worried me, like what if they kill Post-Crisis Superman? This could be that..."hey it's coming!" warning

Oh that kind of red herring. Well he is powerless in his Covergence story but I think this is just some way Superman gets to see all the times his alternate selfs have died before.

Just checked. It was a huge trident not a spear. Its probably meant to be that I guess :P
Don't really know what to think about this. I'm pretty behind thanks to TPB stuff but this idea seems like a massive love letter the pre new 52 fans. I'm not particularly looking forward to that since all the aforementioned fans will be on their high horses saying that superman In the new 52 is just a screw up and doesn't do a good job. Though I loved the pre 52 superman with all my heart, the newbie is doing a good job and has some awesome stories. Plus I still love the costume. And with that said I'm gonna be burned alive at the stake.
