What if someone is going to use kryptonite against superman, how far does it need to be to affect him? If he wears gloves will he able to take it away and does he need gloves? Is the pain so unbearable even superman can't try to take it away from the opponent? Is kryptonite an abundant material?

Depends on the writer, but even with K, he's still insanely strong. He could still knock someone's block off.
