    Yes, he can.

There's actually three ways that's been shown in comics.

First and foremost, is if Superman exposes himself to high doses of solar energy, either by entering a star and staying there for a period of time, and the more powerful the star, the faster he grows more powerful and with it his invulnerability also expands to new levels. One of those levels being immunity to kryptonite. Althought to be totally accurate, he may gain immunity to the more basic types of kryptonite, like gree, blue and red, but other more complex types like for example, black-K, still appears to have some effects on him. And if black still afects him, then silver or gold should also have some effects.

Another way for Superman to make himself more powerful while at the same time making himself immune to kryptonite, and this is taken from the silver age Superman, he would for example use green-K in a device that can regulate the intensity of the kryptonite radiation, purpositely use it on himself while being exposed to high levels of solar radiation. At first Superman would feel some disconfort and weakness, but after a while he'd start feeling less and less the effects of the kryptonite, and when he returned to Earth and removed the device not only would he notice a augment in his powers but kryptonite wouldn't affect him has much, if at all.

The third method, has been shown mainly in Superman One Million. Has Superman grows older, he grows more and more powerful, given enough time, he becomes so powerful that no type of kryptonite can affect him. But it's a long process, taking thousands of years. More recently in the new 52 timeline, in Superman Unchained the character Wraith basically showed to Superman, that his main weakness was his poor control over his powers. After reading the entire arc one can deduce, that given enough training and control, he would be able to control and manipulate, in more complex ways the energy inside him to emit and control more efficiently EM energy. And also has a bonus he'd be able to block specific frequencies. Basicaly that would make him invulnerable to all forms of kryptonite in their raw form. To affect Superman it would most likely require the use of some kind of energy weapon fueled by kryptonite. And even then I'm not entirely sure it would affect him in any way more harmful than any other energy based weapons.

There are also theories, how he could make himself immune to kryptonite, but those are mainly mental exercises made by Superman fans, based on how it's believed his powers work, and what might be done to increase them.

    Basically what heavenlydarkdragon said.

Just a couple of words about this paragraph.

That’s not necessary such long process. In other continuities (namely Kingdom Come) Superman, been in late fifties/early or middle sixties, became more or less resistant to green Kryptonite plus his other physical and sensor powers appear stronger as well.

Such way of development for Kryptonian abilities seems to differ from the one which were offered in SM Unchained.

Wraith, despite been of actually older age compared to KC Superman and even developing some form of energy manipulation, didn’t have any resistance to Wraithtonite and had to rely on some kind of machinery to fight off its effects. Perhaps single exposure to it wasn’t enough to calibrate his energy manipulation to block its frequency.

Yes. But remember that in both occasions Wraith was not really in any shape to block anything.

The first time he was caught off guard because he had never handled anything like his own version of kryptonite. The second time he was fighting Superman, and Supes pretty much had him beaten. And remember Superman put his wraithtonite ring inside Wraith mouth and still he was able to recover.

While Superman if he gets anywhere near kryptonite he starts getting useless. Now imagine a kryptonite ring slammed inside his mouth.
