If Superman decides to use his heat vision in the form of a narrow beam (like most common illustrations that we see), then yes Batman has the capability of dodging them. It's not because he's that fast, although quickness is a factor here. He's just smart enough to predict the trajectory of the blast and where his opponent will be aiming the shot. As soon as the heat initially leaves Superman's eyes, Batman will already be on the move. This is how he dodges other projectiles such as bullets, lasers, arrows, etc. (keep in mind, this doesn't make him a "bullet timer"). No prep is required for this feat.

However, if Superman actually plays this smart and shoots it off at a wide angle, then it is impossible for Batman to dodge the heat vision. Not even metas with superspeed feats will be able to dodge an all-out heat vision blast from Superman. Oh, and for the record, Batman didn't dodge the Omega Beams in any cartoon version of his fights against Darkseid. He just so happened to be fortunate enough to have the beams land on another target... and he still gets injured to some degree.

Superman does a lot of things, but still ends up getting hit by people and avoided constantly even with his super speed. things like this shouldn't happen, and batman is as slippery as an eel. His ability to dodge anything at point blank ranger is absurdly good.

Totally, people are written to dodge Superman's heat vision all the time. This can be due to a variety of reasons such as poor aim on Superman's part or the fact his enemy knows they are coming.

probably not, Batman doesn't really dodge bullet or lasers. He will mostly guess where the bad guy is going to fire and jumps out of the way before they get their shot off. Most so called "bullet-dodgers" are just aim-dodgers. However like other fans say Superman isn't a natural fighter or shooter, an enemy might be able to predict know where what he's going to do. Like a spider or lizard catches a much faster insect, a person with good knowledge of Superman and good preparation might be able to hold off Superman for a bit...the big problem here is they can only hold him back so long. Superman's top speed is massive, he can move at speeds to make a normal human look like a snail

Superman always holds his speed back, Luthor or Grundy would never hit Superman if he always used his full speed

Batman was able to take some of them down with a few of his exploding batarangs. He left the Battlefield when he realized the army was just a bunch of fakes and were just being used as a distraction.

I can make the same argument that Superman hits his beams because of plot. Everything done is comics is done because of plot. Your argument does not really make sense.

The point I'm trying to convey is Superman does not use his speed when he battles bricks.....at all if he does they would not even be able to touch him.I mean do you really want to read a comic when the main character beats most of his villains is seconds?

If Superman has no intention of killing or severely harming Bruce then yes, he will avoid the heat vision for a moment.
