What the hell, DC?!! Can we get a competent writer? How come Superman gets lame writers like Daniels and Lobdell? Can he get an A-lister? This is Geoff Johns' universe, he should take over Action Comics...or get Mark Waid to do it.

Johns already wrote AC and Waid/DC Comics is a long story and isn't going to happen because of Waid.

To be honest I think most writers are put off writing for DC after all the problems there have been since the New 52 began. Just look in the last couple of weeks with Fialkov and Diggle leaving after 1 issue on their respective titles. DC seem to have the overall control on the titles and not the creators, which I would imagine is frustrating for majority of comic book talent.

I find it quite surprising that a dark and mature writer like Ennis can write a compelling Superman story. But that Hitman issue with Superman in showed me otherwise. Kelly's another writer who can do mature stories yet still write an awesome Superman one. Ennis or Kelly would be an instant buy for me.

Someone at DC should get Joe Kelly on the line, I would LOVE to read more of his work on Superman. How about Paul Dini, Why not Paul Dini? We need it with Diggle leaving AC and Scott Lobdell continuing Superman's descent into mediocrity.

Tony Daniel is leaving after the arc. He had to script the plots Diggle had left behind when he jumped ship, and Daniel will do the same once the story is over. And since he's using someone elses plot outline, it probably won't be that bad.

@billy_batson: Well a single editor (in chief :-P) isn't responsible for the whole company Harras may be a bad editor but DC could fire him soooo the problem is way deeper :-P

    ACTION COMICS #22

    Written by SCOTT LOBDELL

Art and cover by TYLER KIRKHAM and BATT

    http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=44740

    yup

I couldnt stop laughing when I read who this book is now going to be written by.

I see Superman following in the routes of what the X-Men did in the 90s, hell, I see DC doing they did to Marvel in the 90s (hence, Image Comics was born!)

Damn DC, get your shizz together!

If Lobdell is a good writer than I wish he would start writing good. His new 52 books have completely sucked monkey bunghole. By all means, if he is a good writer someone please ask him to write something good.
