12 Things That Ruined Superman

Was Superman Returns that bad? Hulk never saw it, so Hulk not know what big deal is.
Yes, it was. The idea was to create an emotional epic showing Superman's loneliness, but it just didn't work.
garbage blog/article whatever you wanna call it
I thought that the articule was good. The writer made some good points like his point of Superman dating Wonder woman.
I stopped reading upon seeing "Superman starts flying" as one of the reasons.
Its an impressive article. I mean there are so many real reasons to not like Superman, but he failed to name any of them other then the death and rebirth.
Honestly I did kinda hate The Death of Superman because it killed death....not Superman.
i09 seems to have a vendetta against Supes and the new Man of Steel movie. Based on some of their articles, it looks like they have already made up their mind that it will suck. So yeah, why listen to what they have to say?
Yeah. I've seen some of their articles and comments and stuff, and they seriously have already decided Man of Steel is going to suck. Like, what? It's so annoying.
did this guy just read supermans wiki and base all his knowedge off that? No understanding of the character whatsoever.

Saw it earlier. Garbage article.
BB
This .... Apart from the mullet that was wrong haha
Whenever I see an article or forum post talking bad about Superman I remember one thing They're called SUPER heroes for a reason and it ain't Batman
This article is rife with accurate statements and valid points. Kudos to the author. Good eye.

I agree with most of the article except the death of superman and the bit about flying. If you did a bit of background research on this and the backgrounds behind them they will understand.
Yep. I love Superman. But I agree with most of this article.
*sighs* The blogger is another guy who thinks Superman is still in the Silver Age.

Ditto. Ridiculous reason. Hell, if anything I like that he's so super-powered. The notion that a hero has to be of "street level" power to be relateable is horse crap. It's the character of the person when he/she's "off duty" that matters in that regard. (I'd even argue, at least for me, more power = better in regards to escapism. Imagining I could fly, be ni-invincible, lift near anything, zoom anywhere in an instant (etc) would be more of a break from my reality than imagining I was fighting crime w/gadgets & no-powers (don't me wrong, I love Batman too though))
Although what I skimmed of the list, I wouldn't totally disagree with Smallville. Not that it's bad, but it's not Superman. People who aren't big comic/hero fans think it's weird that I don't like it despite being a huge Superman fan (though I would say, why aren't you a Superman fan because you watched Smallville?), but it's because it was what that blogger said -- a teen-drama. It had Super-inspirations, but there's no reason to believe that someone who loves any Superman comic title would like Smallville.
The ending of the marriage of Lois Lane and Superman. Should of kept it.
I love how he says "I CAN'T BELIEVE SUPERMAN AND LOIS STARTED DATING" and then came back and said "SUPERMAN IS DATING WONDER WOMAN WTF HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE WITH LOIS!!!!!!" What an asshole.
@corpsecraft: So who Should be he Dating?
