It is funny sometimes to look back at these old issues.  For modern characters, fans usually cry foul if a characterization is messed up even on one occasion of the character outside of the usual stream of stories.  In the older stories though, characters were used to fit the plot and not vice versa.  In this case Lois comes across Catwoman, who hypnotizes and makes her into a duplicate Catwoman.  When she realizes that Superman won’t hurt the counterfeit, she substitutes herself and tries to ta...
