A techno-organic being with a twelfth-level intellect and hyper-advanced technology, he travels the multiverse seeking civilizations to shrink and abduct, which he then adds to his collection of captured worlds. He has been responsible for the extinction of countless cultures and the deaths of untold billions.
Jonathan Kent, married to Martha Kent, is the adoptive father of Clark Kent, who is better known as Superman. Before his recent death, he was a rural farmer in Kansas. He is sometimes referred to as Pa Kent, and sometimes as Eben Kent.
General Dru-Zod was a member of the Kryptonian military, exiled to the Phantom Zone by Jor-El after attempting to conquer Krypton. When he escaped years later he targeted Superman and his adopted planet Earth.
Martha Kent and her husband Jonathan Kent are the adoptive parents of Clark Kent (aka Kal-El / Superman). She also helps raise and provide guidance to other members of the superfamily, including Superboy and Supergirl.
Kara Zor-El is Superman's cousin and last survivor of Krypton's Argo City. She has a brash and defiant personality that she developed in response to the destruction of Krypton. Currently, she's operating out of National City alongside the D.E.O.
Jimmy Olsen is a photojournalist working at the Daily Planet, as well as a close friend of both Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
Garth Ranzz is one of the three original members/founders of the Legion of Super-Heroes. Empowered with the ability to control electricity, he is called Lightning Lad. Garth is the older twin brother of fellow Legionnaire Lightning Lass, and the younger brother of Lightning Lord.
The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
The City Editor of the Daily Planet, the newspaper where Clark Kent (Superman) works. A gruff and hard taskmaster, but a very loveable character.
Lana Lang is a native of Smallville and was Clark Kent's high school sweetheart. She is one of his closest friends and was one of the first people to find out that Clark was Superman
Ultraman is an evil doppelgänger of Superman from an alternate universe. He is the de facto leader of the Crime Syndicate, a team of supervillains paralleling the Justice League.
Jor-El was a major Kryptonian scientist on the Kryptonian Science Council, the biological father of Superman, and the husband of Lara Lor-Van. He discovered the Phantom Zone and invented the Phantom Zone projector.
Lara Lor-Van is a Kryptonian Scientist as well as the biological mother of Superman and wife to Jor-El.
Imra Ardeen is a founding member of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th and 31st centuries under the code name Saturn Girl. Though all of the inhabitants of her homeworld of Titan are telepaths, Imra's telepathy ranks among the strongest of her race. Saturn Girl is the first ever female character to lead a super-team in comic book history.
Cosmic Boy is a native of Braal with the ability to control electromagnetic fields. He is a founding member of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
