A definite improvement
This second issue of Superman Family Adventures has Bizarro arriving in Metropolis where he first starts destroying the city but soon enough Superman takes him to the Fortress of Solitude when they realize he just was having a bad day and likes ice cream. But even then he starts turning the Fortress inside out! The storyline is simple but fun and I love that Bizarro was brought in here. While not all of the jokes clicked there were more that worked in this issue than in the first. At the end of the issue there is a fun challenge to try and make seventeen words out of the words “Super Pets” which honestly ends up being a lot harder than you would think. Anyway, this issue is good for the younger ones and is certainly improving for all audiences. With a little bit more work this could become the go to comic book for children.
