    Superman First Encounters Kryptonite

    The back story to the meteorite continues to reveal itself in 5 year increments in the prologue to this story arc, 'Superman: Kryptonite'.

    Here we have another issue that further exposes Superman's vulnerability (now to Kryptonite, although no one yet realizes it). Again, the story writing is excellent. And again, the art is also excellent. Especially a fight scene where we see Superman, suffering from the effects of kryptonite, being pummeled by Luthor's henchmen.

    Meanwhile, Perry White is still determined to take Tony Gallo down, but there's a leak at the Daily Planet.

    This is just good fun comics here.
