    Overview

    In issue #206, Big Blue came face-to-face with a seemingly unstoppable foe backed by a ruthless dictator. While Superman has vowed not to take sides in a civil unrest, he finally must decide on whether he maintains his neutrality or takes up arms. However, will he choose the right side to defend? Can he trust those he's sworn to defend. Stay tuned, because an unstoppable monster and oppressive regime aren't the only dilemmas Superman has to contend with in this issue!

    What has made this story arc so fascinating throughout has been its reliance not on so much action, but rather more deeply philosophical concepts and Superman's fallibility despite his impressive array of powers.  The action here focuses around Superman's conflict with Equus and the moment at the beginning in reference to "faster than a speeding bullet" is handled masterfully.  The later standoff against Equus is also quite well done, with a great one liner: Again though it is really the dialog...
