Originally posted in my blog, The Comics Cove, not too long ago...I actually liked this cover quite a bit, and it’s not just the fact that Superman’s getting slammed into a building. It’s also the invisible monster doing the slamming, which you have to admit is pretty well done. There’s also not one intense color dominating most of the cover, and with it Superman’s new threads. Superman Saves The Day 0

Superman #1 was an interesting a fun ride that gave us the new things to Metropolis and Superman himself. Superman #2 continues to do that but gives him even more trouble to fight.  THE GOOD: I really like the art. Jesus Merino does a great job at capturing emotion and fight scene. The story is also very simple but has a lot of deep elements the come into play. I really like seeing Lois and Clark talking to each other.
