  4. "If Lex Luthor Were Superman's Father!" (part 1) "The Wedding of Lara and Luthor!" part 2) written by Jerry Siegel, penciled by Curt Swan and inked by George Klein. (Superman, Lex Luthor, Jor-El, Lara) Lex Luthor travels back in tme to be Superman's dad.

Note: The story "Superman's Mission for President Kennedy!" was originally set to run in Superman #168, but was pulled following JFK's assassination. The story's original art was donated to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library at Harvard University.

A Piece of History 0

No Superhero has been called upon by the President of the United States of America more than Superman. The history of American presidents calling upon the Man of Steel is a long one, but this is perhaps the first such occasion.  When Lana Lang does a TV exposé on how Americans are falling behind other nations in physical fitness, President Kennedy  calls on Superman to help with his Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
