Evil Spider-Man Strikes again 0

After the events in Superior Spider-Man #5 you would think Otto would tone it down a bit but that’s not the case. After Amazing Spider-Man #700 I thought for sure Otto would meet Peter somewhere in the middle but as the story progresses he is becoming darker and darker. In this issue Spidey decides to avenge Jameson after Screwball and Jester completely embarrass him all over the internet by pancing him during a news conference. At first Spidey doesn’t take the threat to seriously but after he re...

Superior? I Think So! 0

Superior Spider-man keeps blowing me away. I thought this was an amazing idea since they first announced it and haven't missed an issue. Easily my favorite Marvel NOW! comic. This was another strong issuethat continues building the new characters in the supporting cast for Spoctopus. we get a short conversation with Anna and Shnoz, which honestly does not amount to much do to crime fighting getting in the way. I think Anna is a great addition to the cast, Shnoz on the other hand is a straigh...

Gone Too Far 0

After defining his stature as an aggresive and malevolent Spider-Man, Doc Ock goes head to head with a bunch of pranksters. Also, it's quite clear that the rest of the Marvel Universe, namely the Avengers, have noticed a change in Spidey. How far will Spidey have to go for the Avengers to take charge? The Good Without trying to sound like a Slott-fanboy, he's done an awesome job with the pacing for the last six issues. He's done a lot, and I mean lot in what 22 pages? He covers a bunch of villain...

Superior Spider-Man 6 0

Many believe that Spider-Man is a hero after killing Massacre, however many allies of the Superior Spider-Man think that he has changed greatly. Plus, what happens when harmless cyber hackers/pranksters, Jester and Screwball, cross Spider-Man's path? The GoodLast story arc, involving Massacre, was really good. It allowed Dan Slott to open new doors for Spider-Man's character development. Having the web-head kill Massacre is a major change in Spider-Man's character and already we see his allies ar...

Come on, Octavius. 0

Superior Spider-Man really did surprise me. I mean, really? Doc Ock as the “new and improved Spider-Man”? No. But as I kept buying each issue, I realized something. I am sure as hell enjoying reading this new series. As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I was sure as hell enraged when I heard about all the changes that were to come with Superior Spider-Man but I really have learned to appreciate this wacky story arc. Now on to the sixth issue of The Superior Spider-Man.Issue number five ended off with ...
