NEVER Take Dating Advice From An Octopus
Going into the second issue of this, it definitely got better than the first for me. The cheesy script of the first issue died down for this as this one showed more of the personal life for the new Peter Parker.
The Good: This issue shows more of the personal life of Otto in his new body and pretty much shows him as a major creep, the whole issue made me feel weirded out, but at the same time made me laugh. The art still continues to give it a modern comic look and fits well with the writing Dan Slott does a good job of showing Otto struggling to be a normal person, any guy who thinks taking a girl to a planetarium is a good idea, definitely is... an evil genius?
The Bad: All in all this issue wasn't a story filled issue, minus the ending setting it up for something new, it didn't really have a whole lot going on except small talk and a few scenes that may have felt unneeded.
The Verdict: I guess I have a soft spot for things that will make me laugh, this issue was okay at best but still a great read and very fun.
