Can somebody, help me? I like the design of this character, does somebody know who this is?

I'm not really sure if Adam has mentioned his name yet, but I do know that he's in the first novel in the segment "Love Changes Everything," where he, Protean, and the psionic-girl with the mechanized beehive hairdo talk with Emp about how their powers came from post-human STDs (or an alien venereal disease in Protean's case). I do know that he's hawaiian though.
