Character » Supergirl appears in 1945 issues.

There have been many incarnations of Supergirl, the most current "Girl of Steel" is Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin and last survivor of Krypton's Argo City. In the New 52, Supergirl has a more brash and defiant personality in response to the destruction of Krypton.

are they related? how are they different (other than bust size) and how many cousins does supes have?

Superman doesn't have many cousins.Power Girl is Supergirl from an alternate timeline.So there basically the same person."

wrong powergirl is from another universe, earth-two to be exact

It was bad writing. For a long time they had re-done her origin and she wasnt from krypton, she was from some other planet. They later switched her back to being Kryptonian but the story with the Auctioneer happened before they had switched her origin back.

Nobody remembers her from Pre-Crisis, except those few who had survived from Earth 2, Superman, Lois, Alex Luthor, Superboy Prime.

i think its because she is from another universe, that's the reason kryptonite from earth 1 doesnt effect her.
