Kara Zor-El is Superman's cousin and last survivor of Krypton's Argo City. She has a brash and defiant personality that she developed in response to the destruction of Krypton. Currently, she's operating out of National City alongside the D.E.O.
I have a few youtube AMVs dedicated to Supergirl I'd like to share (I didn't make them of course but I find them to be quite kickass tributes to the Girl of Steel)
And yeah, I think Kara Zor-El, the current Supergirl, is the best incarnation of Supergirl ever and I look forward to seeing her come into her own as a heroine with her own adventures and rogues gallery separate from Superman. Kara simply kicks ass >8D
I liked her midriff baring outfit with belt better than her older outfits, and her current shorts/skirt combo looks awkward XD.
Anywho, I like how Kara is a hero like her cousin but clearly has her own personality and way of doing things, she worries about normal everyday things we take for granted on top of how to be her own hero without relying too much on Superman, yet still do whats right.
Can't wait til her rogues gallery is more fleshed out, she deserves her own baddies besides Supes villains

She's awesome. I love the fact she tried to cure a boy with cancer. It was naive and she did many wrong things in order to try, however it was one of the most interesting comics I have read, she asked the questions most superheroes like Superman avoid and cross-lines for what she believed it was right!! She was damn inspiring!!!

And Kelley Puckett's Kara made mistakes but not selfish ones. That so cool. In real life is so amazing how much damage one can do just my trying to do the right thing!! I loved that saga!
