Kara Zor-El is Superman's cousin and last survivor of Krypton's Argo City. She has a brash and defiant personality that she developed in response to the destruction of Krypton. Currently, she's operating out of National City alongside the D.E.O.
Because of my general misgiving's about the new Supergirl character i'll answer this about the previous Supergirl's relationship with Superboy lol
yeah, i really liked the relationship that was starting between Superboy and Linda Danvers, i thought that one showed real promise and it actually looked like it could grow into something more than friendship, the sad part is that Linda left earth when the two of them were getting really close, and then we have this new Supergirl come in and noone ever talks about Linda anymore...
the new Supergirl has had a few weird issues with Superboy, some of them have been really good but others have just shown it to look a bit awkward between the two...
and now i'm rereading your post i'm confused... which Supergirl / Superboy are we talking about here? i assumed you were talking about the Teen Titans Superboy, Kon-El, who wasn't really Supergirl's cousin as he was a clone of Superman mixed with human DNA, which weirdly is how Kryptonians reproduce, without the human DNA bit of course lol, so he's more like Superman's son, which makes Supergirl his aunt... huh, weird lol
The recent Supergirl and Superboy. Like when Supergirl and Superboy had that big fight and then after she broke his jaw then they actually started to be cousins. I thought that was cool (Until the Teen titans came and attacked them). I wanted to see more of it but Superboy died Sighed I really liked Superboy. I thought he was cool.

Um, didn't know that. Well I said cousin because Superboy said she was his cousin (Because he does have Superman DNA).

Yeah... she's Superman's cousin and was born a few hours after he was (linearly anyway lol), so technically she's the same age as Superman but was just in stasis...

huh? confused now lol Kryptonian's reproduce in a birthing matrix mixing DNA from both parents instead of biological reproduction... Kal-El's parents were Jor-El and Lara, so he's a combination of their DNA... Kon-El's parents were Kal-El and... Lex Luthor... jesus, thats twisted... who's the mom? lol M "

time lines are a little squewed and stasis doesn't help... but Superman and Supergirl were basically born around the same time, one might be a bit older than the other but it changes from story to story...
man Methos had a lot of really wrong beliefs about the kryptonian birthing matrix's.....When they combine their dna in the matrix they're basically just taking any chances away of not reproducing....when humans have sex to reproduce they're doing the exact same thing as the kryptonians except the birthing matrix is now the mother's womb....a child of either species is a combination of both parent's dna that's just how it works...no cloning is involved with kryptonian reproduction...Conner is different though....think of Conner as one of the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park....the kryptonian dna is to hard to map so they used human dna to fill in the blanks
@danhimself: Isn't that pretty much what Methos said though? DNA is cloned from both parents and then combined to form a single organism... it's the same principal as sexual reproduction or in vitro fertilization.
@Hunter114: cloning is making a genetic duplicate of the original dna source...that's what they tried to do with Conner....if it weren't for the complexities of kryptonian dna they would have made an exact duplicate of Superman but do to the complexities of his dna they couldn't map his dna entirely so they had to fill in the blanks a little using what they thought at the time was Paul Westfield's dna...if you want to put labels on it they were trying to make Superman a twin brother
in actual reproduction whether it's in a mother's womb or a birthing matrix the dna combination is a 50/50 mix...the child gets 50% of it's dna from both parents creating an entirely different child who will pick up some traits from one parent and some traits from the other....but this isn't the case with Superboy...a majority of his dna was Superman's something like 90%
@Primmaster64: i'd say so the trinity was their when it happened and she was with the Titans for awhile i must of come up with Tim, maybe no on panel but theirs no way she couldn't know after all it did make papers
