There have been many incarnations of Supergirl, the most current "Girl of Steel" is Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin and last survivor of Krypton's Argo City. In the new 52, Supergirl has a more brash and defiant personality in response to the destruction of Krypton.
The second one from the left is my favorite for the character. The fourth one over is "hotter", and is probably a close second in my voting, but when I think of Supergirl I want something a little more wholesome.

Honestly I don't think you wanna know... than guy isn't Superman or anything.... everything was wrong with that story-arc and it was canceled right after one or two issues. It's from the they they brought Kara Zor-El back to the world of comics just to not knowing what to do with her and put her in some stupid plots.... :(

@Calvin: that was such a stupid arc. and wouldn't that be the same as kissing supes since its alternate reality him that would be like him and Power Girl getting together. a bit messed up
I'm not sure if I really like any of the costumes any version of Supergirl has been wearing. The evil Kara (in black, pictured a few posts above) and Crisis on Infinite Earths Kara (with the S-shield in the middle, red skirt and a headband) are my favorites though, out of the ones that already are.

I you remember the plot she was suposed to kill Clark? I mean... come one, that was so stupid and they it was all a dream, the art was great back then though.

I wonder how Kara would look in a standard Kryptonian Science Guild uniform...probably kinda generic (for a Kryptonian anyway), but you'd think she'd wear that on at least ONE OCCASION since her guilding day a few issues back <.<

It's not very Kryptonian to show that much of skin. I always figure them as very convervetive. In the All-Star Superman they where pictured like not alowing skin touch between strangers so they always were gloves. I like that. You know make they ways different, after all even if they're more advanced it's interesting to see still some of this small superstitions and stuff.

Yeah, but showing skin didn't have much to do with what I said lol I meant that Kara's "guilding day" (the birthday when a Kryptonian is allowed to choose his/her guild) was a few issues back (she chose Science Guild, by the way), but even since then she's been wearing the Supergirl suit, no Science Guild uniform. Just find it odd (from an in-Universe perspective), that's all.

They could have gave her a outfit for the ocasion like they did with supes!
