    This story pretty much establishes this series as one for fans and not really one for outsiders.  The first few issues seemed like they might try some new direction for the character, but as the series has progressed, they have been consistently of a high value, but the stories are lacking enough in interest that no buzz is being generated for the series.  I would put this series completely in the realm of a fun series yet not really in any way noteworthy.  Here Kara must escape from Argo City a...

    Lonely World, Teaching An Angry Girl To Let Go 0

    This cover's not perfect, but I really have to admire the effort. The color has a nice wash of blue, which gives the image an odd sense of calm to it. Supergirl's life is almost frozen in a single moment as she awaits her death. Has she accepted her fate? Let's open up and find out!I love how this issue really nails the running theme Supergirl has been given, a science fiction interpretation of a medieval style 'lost civilization' storyline.     Synopsis: Can Kara escape Argo City before it disintegrates in the sun and return back to Earth to stop Reign?After being defeated by Reign in the previous issue Kara is powerless from escaping her homeworld before it gets destroyed in the sun. In a flashback, we see a brief idea of what Kara's life was before she was sent to Earth. It has some aspects of the old DC universe which her father, Zor-El wants her to be a scientist, and her mother (Alura In-Ze I'm presuming) wants her to be a warrior...
