Synopsis: Kara confronts Black Banshee.Poor Kara. Just as soon as she found Siobhan, someone who could communicate with her and who she could become friends with to adapt on Earth, she has to deal with that person's family curse. Yes, Black Banshee, the father of Silver Banshee, is making Kara's life on Earth even more difficult. Thank you Michael Green and Mike Johnson for making Kara's life a living hell.Kara already has an uneasy relationship on Earth with the people and it's made even worse ...

Supergirl #9 - Like Daughter by razzatazz on August 08, 2012

I have always felt that despite their lack of weaknesses that the Kryptonian heroes face magic users far too much (magic being one of their major weaknesses.)  There is something about it that just doesn’t seem to fit right as it interfaces too much between science fiction and fantasy.  In this case Supergirl has to deal with two magical Banshees, one very much trying to hurt her and the other trying her best to control the power which she possesses.  Of course Kara is a little out of her league...
