Supergirl vs Bizzaro Supergirl
The battle between Supergirl and Bizzaro Supergirl contiunes.
Pros:
In the beginning, we get a few pages on how and why Bizzaro Supergirl appeared on Earth. Its pretty funny seeing the different Bizzaro versions of characters such as Lois, Jimmy and Lex (?). After the ending of the last issue that made Supergirl turn into stone, it was interesting how she broke out. The outcome of the fight was predicable, but what happens afterward did surprised me. There's also Cat Grant who contiunes to try to ruin Supergirl's career, but when she gets a mysterious package, it gets put on hold.
The one part of the comic that made me laugh out loud was Bizzaro Supergirl dancing and singing with flowers around her with just one boot on.
Another artist did the cover which looks great. But besides the cover, the issue itself looks great as well. Again, Jamal Igle presents some good work with a lot of it coming from the coloring from various inkers and coloring. The fight scenes with Supergirl and Bizzaro Supergirl look great. I like the two page spread of Dr. Light and Supergirl taking down Bizzaro Supergirl. Whats interesting to me is that when Supergirl gets knocked away or flies at superspeed, you can see the "S" symbol on her cape.
Cons:
Bizzaro Supergirl's talk can get old really fast as at times, you can't really understand what she's saying. Its supposed to be the opposite of what she really means but sometimes even that gets confusing.
I had this same complaint the last issue when it came to Lucy Lane and now the mysterious police officer who took that kid in the previous issue. I'm beginning to see a pattern to this now with Cat Grant, and while I am curious about whats in the package she received, its adding more existing questions. While I didn't mind this issue primarily focusing on Supergirl and Bizarro Supergirl, I have to wonder where are they going with those three. Maybe it will be revealed after Supergirl takes care of Bizarro Supergirl.
Overall: The ending was not what I expected, but I think I have an idea of where it is going towards for the next issue. Can't wait for the next issue.
