    Decent Stepping Off Point!

This issue was a bit better -- we see Kara a prisoner on a space station run by a crazy guy. An employee pities her as she struggles against the pain of a kryptonite meteor rock! I liked how the writers developed the idea that with compassion you can actually foregoe your mad employer's plan at world domination -- except when you get caught! Kara is still struggling with the idea of being on Earth and discovers a clue -- a red crystal -- that may hold the key to her origins. Unlike the Silver Age edition where Kara lived for years on the Krypton fragment Argo, she has little concept of what's going on, which at times I found frustrating. The bad guy gets grafted to a brain-Silly Putty thing which keeps him alive, ah the hurt villain who wants to use clone technology to rule the world -- have I read that before somewhere? Again, the Supergirl issues are getting interesting but still not enough to continue the investment in time and $2.99. To be fair, good art work! There's a few faces that look off, but overall the quality of the art is ...

This is still quite an enjoyable series, but it is starting to fail itself by not being as accurate to an actual timeline.  Some series have taken the same approach, such as the Justice League, where the events of a few hours or days are compacted into the first few issues, but this series being in real time does not help it in this regard.  The pacing is still fine, but this series among all others feels almost like one that is happening in real time, so being spaced apart by four weeks is tend...
