Supergirl Side of the Moon 0

The Good: The cover has a very intriguing sort of 'fractured' design to it. It's not like broken glass or anything, but there's a sense of almost... light splintering from a prism, and through a main standard shot of Supergirl, when we put her image through the prism, we see the various plot elements shine around her. After some disappointing oddness with the art last issue, we return to the quality of the first two issues. There's a few faces that look off, but overall the quality of the art is ...

Kara hath no fury. 0

Synopsis: Kara has had enough. What's Good?Kara is pissed. Humans really haven't been the greatest host to Kara. They attacked her with mechs, took her spacepod, took her sunstone, attacked her with a brain like creature, and now they took her clothes while leaving her in a tube in a room in pain with Kryptonite. Decent Stepping Off Point! 0

This issue was a bit better -- we see Kara a prisoner on a space station run by a crazy guy. An employee pities her as she struggles against the pain of a kryptonite meteor rock! I liked how the writers developed the idea that with compassion you can actually foregoe your mad employer's plan at world domination -- except when you get caught! Kara is still struggling with the idea of being on Earth and discovers a clue -- a red crystal -- that may hold the key to her origins. Unlike the...
