Might as well be walking on the sun
Since the introduction of the new 52 I have unexpectedly become a reader of Supergirl whereas I never read much to do with her before. A problem which I can see developing with this is that I am not really a fan of the other Supers (Man and Boy) so in the case of such an issue as this where I have no interest in reading the other series, I am at a somewhat of a loss. I pick up here from the other series without much of a lead-in, and a a result the developments here mostly don't make much sense. There are some interesting stylistic elements and the villain here (I presume he is the villain) is pretty good anyway at outlining his case, but there is still a huge disconnect for me. I am sure others will like this better (people that are reading the whole House of El crossover) but for me it mostly misses.
