Up Up and Away!
I haven't really read anything from DC in years. The only reason I decided to try this out is a) I am enjoying Smallville and Supergirl is on that and b) I liked the Justic League cartoon series I recently downloaded.
This one was pretty easy to get into and understand even though I totally have no knowledge whatsoever of the DC universe for years. Most of these characters have been around forever or been introduced to me through the two above mentioned shows. The Batgirl thing threw me though... I know the back story of the old Batgirl from the show Birds of Prey, but have no idea what the new Batgirl looks like so how could I catch a twist like that?
Anyhow, this may be my gateway back into the DC Universe if I like it. I don't know about Marvel, never really was a big fan but we shall see. I always liked DC's heroes best.
