Supergiant was found as a child in an orphanage for the mentally unstable by Thanos. As she watched him kill one of his children, she asked for the same reward. Thanos said he would if she helped him find and kill his remaining children. Supergiant is the most psychotic of the Black Order. An omnipath and telepathic vampire, Supergiant feeds off of others' intelligence. Any intelligence and information Supergiant knows, Thanos knows.
Supergiant alongside Corvus Glaive was sent to the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning as part of Thanos' invasion. When they reached the school, after assessing the abilities of the mutants, Supergiant took over the mind of Iceman and used him to attack other mutants until she was forced out by Rachel Grey.
She was next used by Thanos in Necropolis, where they found the Illuminati's world destroying bombs (designed for Universal Incursions). She also took control of Black Bolt, who was defeated by Thanos, to learn the bombs secrets and use him as a weapon and trigger.
She planned to detonate the device and kill Thanos' last remaining offspring Thane, as well as herself and Earth in the process. It was Maximus that detonated the device, but right before explosion Lockjaw teleported it and Supergiant into space, killing her.
