We all know Bizzaro is considered the opposite of superman,but isn't the new 52 Kon in almost everyway the opposite of superman?

Origin- one was a natural birth,from a (usually) very non natural birth civilization,while the other was created in a lab from a species who procreate naturally

Superman (usually) feels and comes off very human,while KON comes off and feels very alien.

Power wise his are all energy,and comes off as energy,while Supermans are energy but comes off as physical

Weaknesses are totally opposite also,Superman has many outside sources for weaknesses,while kon has one weakness,and it's a inward one.kryptonite,red sun,etc for Kal,and focus for kon.

Power source for superman is the solar energy(outward) while new 52 kons is inside,he is his own power source

Of course there is lots of differences, but no, I don't think that writers tried purposely to make Superboy Superman's reverse version. Good point though.

I think that he just tried to make Superboy special, not Superman 2.0, but then again both us could be wrong or right.

I think he started with the TTK,and decided to make him different enough from Kal and kara that he would stand out and be his own character,it worked.
