And we know that anything published by DC showing a "Future Event" can't be taken as Canon information as the future changes constantly in the DC universe...
Sometimes DC even shows the future and decides they don't like it that way and then completely changes everything a month later.

I wonder...what if Prime goes brain-dead during the fight and Conner dies again but the three Braniac 5's are able to save Conner's mind and then they put Conner in Prime's body? Not only would that be really screwed up but what would Conner tell Cassie if he goes back to the 21st Century in Prime's body?! Actually that'd make for a very good story.
