great review G-Man!  I guess I'm gonna have to see where the new writer takes this book before I decide if I'm going to keep reading or not...without Johns and Manapul it's going to be hard to keep reading it especially if they get rid of Superboy

@danhimself: Thanks!  Superboy is headed to the Teen Titans.  Adventure Comics #7 is some "Top Secret" Blackest Night tie in and starting in #8 James Robinson and Sterling Gates start "Brainiac and the Legion of Superheroes."

The next writers are Tony Beddard for the Blackest Night issue then James Robinson and Sterling Gates and Eric Trautman for the "Brainiac and the Legion of Superheroes" crossover. After that Paul Levitz will take over, it will still have Superboy but the original Clark Kent Superboy with the Legion.

G-man you seemed quite taken with the idea of Lex Luthor being more human ever read Lex Luthor the Man of Steel? It has that same type of tone.

I'm still not happy about Johns and Manapul leaving.  I feel like if DC was going to pull them from the book then they shouldn't have put them on it but also I'm glad they were on it because those 4 issues of with them together were great.  I'm really looking forward to The Flash book.  I think Manapul may be my favorite artist right now.

Manapul is definitely one of the best artists right now. If for nothing else, I'm looking forward to his art on the Flash ongoing.

so i guess the luthor brainiac clone girl thing shown at the end of adventure comics will be in the legion of super heroes comic
I was really hoping Lex and Brainiac would stay with superboy and the titans. I definitely dont think they should have them fight the legion.

that was a great comic. i wish they would let superboy just stay on this comic by himself with guest appearances.

Pretend for a minute that I have no sound on this ancient PC type device. Was your review understandable? To a point. I'm getting that you didn't like it. Didn't get why, because you panned the pages you showed too quickly....

sounds like this issue was really good;. havent read it yet becuase i couldnt resist the call of The walking Dead TPB volume 8 (man was that good!) and work. i still have 3 comics from yesterday that i have to read,and i always save the best for last which means secret 6 and Adventure comics. but i'll get there, and now im super looking forward to it.

@SigersonLTD: You should've been able to see rating towards the end.  I gave it a 4.5 out of 5.  I did like it. Maybe my sadness over Geoff Johns and Francis Manapul leaving was showing in the video.

i LOVED this issue!!
 I really want Superboy to get his own series for his adventures in Smallville!

is there anyway we can get a picture of the campfire scene?

Actually Conner isnt leaving the book completely yet. He's going to be showing up less and less though gradually fadding from the book....I hate that he's not the main character anymore tho---
