Is he like the Superboymof old? Able to move planets and time travel under own power?

kinda/more or less! he's basically from a world that no longer exists, cause it got destroyed in crises on infinite earths, and at the end of that series, he, alexander luthor (earth 3)superman (earth 2) and lois lane were the only survivors at the end of that series from the old universe (when it was know as the multiverse). all there planets were destroyd by the anti-monitor and superboy prime (cause he came from earth prime, which actually had no superheroes in it)our superman and older superman (earth 2)were the ones who fought and took out the anti-monitor (it was actually earth 2 superman who took him out with a solid punch)so at the end of that series, rather than die like the rest of their worlds, alexander luther opened a portal/vortex into another dimension where they remaind until infinite crises last year! where it was shown they were living in this netherrealm, for want of a better world, and watching what was happening to our world and what the superheroes were doing in all the lead up to infinite crises, and thats when sbp busted em out of the, and into infinite crises! basically sbp went a bit loopy in this realm they were living in, and he just wanted his homeworld back, and decided to proceed to do that, at any cost!

neither, if he ever does grow up (and they don't kill him off) he'll be his own superman! he comes from earth prime, where there weren't any heroes and he only read about them in comics, and didn't discover he was superboy/man till his early teens, on his earth, he was never rocketed away from krypton, he was teleported! the day he found out he was kryptonian was the day superman from earth 1 came knocking at his world to ask him for help!

Yeah, basically if you notice, all the heroes where trying to rip his harness suit of cause it was feeding him engergy from the sun, most of the superheroes still struggled with him, and as soon as the sun hit on the last few panels, he throw everyone of him like helpless little tribbles!!!
