    Just Another Day At Smallville 0

    The aftermath of last issues battle is dealt with just in time for Superboy to face a new threat at school (no, not a pop quiz).  The Good Jeff Lemire has been giving us a more down-to-Earth Superboy. I'll admit I didn't enjoy the last issue as much as the first but this one got my excitement up once again. While I wasn't crazy about the way this week's issue of Steel jump around, I loved how page one began in the present and then went back to the events in the morning. That first page reminded ...

    What I like about Jeff Lemire's Superboy is that he is mixing his Canadian farm upbringing into the comic.  There is a sense of himself in every issue.  Childhood match ups Jeff envisioned must be some of the things he is trying to do on Superboy, such as a race between Superboy and a certain someone... which is like a nod to the classic matches Clark has faced off with.  Another thing I love about Superboy, is that Jeff Lemire is getting away with so much more nods to Canada in this series then...

      Cover The cover is very boring in my opinion and I see there has been a trend with this white background cover throughout the Dc comics that have been coming out. Story Superboy is getting a massive headache but then we go back a little before that happens. Conner wakes up because Krypto was barking and woke everyone up.
