Bouncing Boy finds out that his powers have diminished for good. Instead of feeling depressed, he takes this opportunity to ask Duo Damsel to marry him and she accepts. However, Duo Damsel also finds that she cannot create a duplicate and goes to Brainiac 5 for assistance. It is revealed that on a mission, she lost her twin duplicate and forgot to cope with the loss. Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel proceed with the wedding when they are all approached by Starfinger, carrying Duo Damsel's other self. He requests that he gets both of the Duo Damsels or they will both die. The Legion concedes and hands their Duo Damsel over, but track Starfinger to his base to rescue her. It is there that it is revealed that Starfinger kidnapped Duo Damsel so he could clone himself and have more Starfingers in the universe to conquer it. He is defeated by Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes and Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel start their married life together, leaving two open spots on the team.

Bouncing Boy has always been one of my favorite Leggionarres. I don't know why, but it might be because he seems so useless. That makes him a natural match for Triplicate Girl, or Duo Damsel, as she had become by this issue. Can you imagine the awesome power to turn into THREE teenage girls. I shudder to think of the phone bills. I make jokes, not good ones, but I do. This is a fun time to be had. Even the more serious of Legion issues of this era always had a ... I don't want to say whims...
