Superboy #0
R.B. Silva is a decent artist and his skills really show in the splash pages that he draws in this issue. The scope in the panel, is epic and it gives you a feeling of destruction. The facial expressions in this issue are also very spot on and convey the emotions of the character quite well. The story brings up a whole new side to the Boy of Steel and begs to question if we know the character at all. Seeing Krypton was interesting and it grabs your attention right away. We learn TONS about the planet and it really gives you a lot information. Maybe even the reason for the demises?? Seeing this new side to Superboy, really adds a lot to the character and makes you even more excited for when the coming crossover happens.
THE BAD:
The Clones destroying the weather ball, and causing a lot of damage for decades. It heavily implies that this could be the reason for the explosion and seeing this doesn't work. Zero issues are suppose to answer questions, this raises more questions to an already huge pile and people might be forgetting some, so Tom Defalco needs to hurry with some answers.
THE VERDICT: 4.5/5 (Amazing)
This is my favorite issue of Superboy. It adds a lot to the character to where I don't dislike him as much as I use to. This issue should be read by fans of Superman and everything related to him. This issue might be over looked because it is Superboy, but if these clues are correct, this could be the New 52 reason Krypton explodes. I highly recommend this issue to fans of Superboy and the mythos of the Superfamily. Great read.
