The Super Soldier Serum was created by Professor Abraham Erskine to enhance baseline humans beyond the peak of human potential, both mentally and physically. The most famous and successful recipient of the process is Steve Rogers, aka Captain America.

meaningless, it was a crossover where people phoned in who they wanted to win without regard to facts. This is the same comic where wolverine beat Lobo, if you consider that a worthwhile piece of writing to decide winners, then I don't know what to say.
@oiHooliganismoi: If you believe that you have very inaccurate knowledge of Batman and Captain America period. I won't even debate this, I'll just recommend you actually start reading comics before spouting falsehoods. And Batman is a better tactician the Cap and smarter this is without question.

where did i insult u my friend? if anything u questioning my knowledge of comics is more insulting than anything i said.... i happen to be an avid comic book reader .. and an other thing is this all opinion... no one is really right on this topic cause there is no concrete fact that would back either side of the spectrum.... i personally think batman actually admitting that it is feasible that he would loose to cap in JLA vs Avengers is so out of character for batman to even think that, is in away admitting defeat

Yeah in an outcome based on votes. All the Marvel vs. DC stuff was garbage. Storm can't beat Wonder Woman, Venom can't beat Superman, and Wolverine can't beat Lobo.
I would say no. Cap is faster and stronger and most importantly he doesn't tire. Both are superior hand to hand combatants. Its really close, but the longer it goes the more the advantage goes to Cap.

Oh crap.... I'm going to open a can of worms on this one... A hair more? I'd say Cap is quite a bit more powerful. 1200lbs overhead press is his limit, which in the Marvel world is just below superhuman(Wizard had him even higher at 2 tons). He has better speed, agility and endurance and durability. I give Bats the edge on mastering more fighting styles, but Cap has his own style. Cap "should" win this battle everytime. I say "should" because of the difference in physicality. But Bats got the brains and prep to beat him with planning.

Crossover is not canon. DC got it right in those negotiations. If i was DC, I would have never agreed to a crossover if it meant Superman or Batman would lose to anyone.

im pretty surecap does tire its just really hard for him to do so with the serum circulating in his bloodstream
