Superman/Captain America
In this issue Lex Luthor ( Now a green colored Red Skull ) has captured Jim Olsen and his journals. There he learns some information about the origin of the Super Soldier ( Captain America , Superman ). Without a doubtthis is the best of the Amalgam comics. Well at least on the DC side of things. The art done by Dave Gibbons and Mark Waids writing both have shades of the golden age of comics too them. All the while managing to keep a modern day touch to them. In doing so they managed to create a book that could bring a modern day reader to the fun times of old, with out going old time silly on them.
