Banner. Ick. Leave it as a corner. Blue clashes a bit with the red. Getting lazy about this. Overall though, this is a really solid cover. The background's DANGEROUSLY close to being phoned in, but manages to be just moody enough to scoot by. The solo focus on a single moment doesn't always work, but in this case it does, because you spend the entire issue wondering if it was just a cool image, or an actual event.Sigh. Good overall but a bit lackluster 0

Good: The art is really good as the colours really stand out. It's also refreshing to see such an interestingly populated team working quite well together. The dialogue was fun and avoided being too corny in the stereotypical comic sense. The realism in this issue was pretty striking as well as a member is killed for talking too much and it was good to see cool and calculating Waller back in the game (although I assume she wasn't not in it in previous issues). Seeing Harley play to her strengths...

Suicide Squad: B- 0

Over all, I have been enjoying the Suicide Squad comics. This most recent issue has some things I really like, but also some things I am not so hot on.The GoodI am becoming a real Deadshot fan. This character is lethal and smart and unlike his teammates like Savant, he is not psychotic, which makes him all the more deadly. It was a real treat watching him take in stride the fact that Harley drapes the Joker's skinned face across him and use Harley's weakness against her as he works himself free....
